      • To contact about, make appointments to, inform details about, register you to, prepare, and organize Sustainable Development Symposium as well as meetings, seminars, or other related events held by us (collectively referred to as “SD Symposium”);

      • To control access to SD Symposium, maintain security measures, prevent crimes, and prevent the spread of a contagious disease;

    • If you are a speaker, give an opinion, or ask a question to a speaker, we collect, store, and disclose video recordings of you to the public to share the knowledge and publicize SD Symposium.

    • When you apply to, register, or attend SD Symposium, we collect your following personal data:
      • Name and surname;
      • Position;
      • Your company or organization;
      • Email address.
      • Telephone number;
      • Records of your participation or registration in previous activities and events organized by us or our Affiliates
      • Still and moving images and audio which are obtained when we record the event in general or your speech, interview, discussion, opinion, or question.
      • Interests/Expectations towards SD Symposium
    • If you are a speaker, we might collect your following personal data in addition to 2.1:
      • Your photograph for public relation and introduction;
      • Your profile and achievements;
      • Your interests and specialization;
      • Your dietary requirements (if we arrange foods for you);
      • Your identification information e.g. passport, identification card (if necessary e.g. in accordance with requirements set by an authority or our internal auditors).
    • We may indirectly collect your personal data indicated in this Privacy Notice from sources other than you such as from our Affiliates, business partners, assistants or secretaries or contact persons, and other entities. We might also collect your personal data from publicly available sources such as websites, public records, official documents, and information on your social media account which is disclosed to the public.

For instance, we do not intend to collect information about your religious belief but we obtain such information when we collect an image of your identification card.       • If you are a speaker or discuss, express an opinion, ask a question, or give an interview; we might disclose the video and audio recordings of the speech, discussion, opinion expression, inquiry, and interview to the public through various channels and means.
      • If you indicate that you want to become a member of the Circular Economy Partnership Network, we will disclose your name, position, organization, email address, telephone number and interests to other members on www.sdsymposium2020.com to contact, communicate, and create the Circular Economy Partnership Network.
    • We will require persons receiving your personal data to take appropriate measures to protect your personal data, process the data properly and only as necessary, and prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data.

    • We may send or transfer your personal data to our affiliates or other persons in a foreign country if it is necessary in order for us to perform our obligations in the contract to which you are the counterparty or contract between us and third party for your benefit, to respond to your pre-contractual request; to protect your and third party’s life, body and health, to comply with laws or to the extent necessary for the public interest activities.

And may use third-party programs, applications and platforms in processing your personal data. However, we will not allow unrelated parties to access to your personal data and will require such parties to have appropriate security protection measures.
