“Commemorate His Majesty the King” on the Occasion of Royal Coronation

On the occasion of the royal coronation ceremony of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, SCG cooperates with government agencies, private sector enterprises and volunteer networks nationwide to conduct social contribution activities in honor of His Majesty the King. A series of activities aims to deliver the benefits and happiness to the people for better living conditions under the “Commemorate His Majesty the King” project.

COMMEMORATE HIS MAJESTY THE KING, VOLUNTEERS ALLEVIATING DROUGHT

SCG realizes the drought crisis, especially this year the country is facing a great drought happening faster than every year and possibly the worst in 3 decades. SCG joins hands with the Royal Thai Army to launch immediate drought relief effort by sending a caravan to deliver 1,000 of 2,000-liter water tanks made from innovative polymer “Elixir” to alleviate the suffering of drought-hit communities. The Royal Thai Army supports water for consumption.

COMMEMORATE HIS MAJESTY THE KING, VOLUNTEERS CONSERVING WATER

SCG has adopted the royal initiative of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on sustainable water management from upstream, midstream to downstream areas as a guideline for a profound water management effort for 10 years to effectively tackle drought and flooding challenges. SCG encourages volunteers to join in the conservation efforts on royal water management initiative to empower the communities to implement effective water management in their areas and tackle drought problems in the long term.

COMMEMORATE HIS MAJESTY THE KING, VOLUNTEERS DEVELOPING NATIONWIDE CROWN PRINCE HOSPITALS

SCG Foundation along with associated networks and volunteers will renovate and develop service areas according to the requirements provided by 21 Crown Prince Hospitals nationwide in honor of His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on occasion of his royal coronation. The efforts are intended to provide the people with better-quality medical services.
