This is a first Hackathon provided by SCG under the concept of ‘Passion for Open Innovation’. It is a three day event of learning, free food and launching an idea. On Friday, everyone meets in the evening for people with ideas but no team to pitch them and find likeminded people to make their idea a reality.
Day 2 is a jam-packed day of hacking, mentoring and workshops by some of the brightest sparks in industry. Finally on Day 3, teams pitch their idea to a panel of esteemed judges with top prizes on offer.
Anyone with ideas and passion are welcome to attend. You can build a team of 3-4 people or come find new friends with skills to complement your own!
First but not least, a laptop and charger! Here’s some other things you may want to consider (not required): change of clothes, power extensions, any necessary adapters for connecting to HDMI, and plenty of enthusiasm!
