Adults' Encouragement Equals Children's Success

As one of its philosophies, Belief in the Value of the Individual, SCG believes children can develop themselves to become capable, successful adults if they are encouraged with inspirations and opportunities.

This is what the TV commercial “Inspiration” tries to do, portraying the life of Neti Namwong, a university lecturer who grew up as a normal country boy, but was inspired by his father. Since Neti was young, his father would create brain games for him to play so that he would gradually learn how to solve problems, give himself encouragement when facing difficulties and accumulating life lessons to use in the future.

Neti grew up with good opportunities in life. He earned the highest scores in physics when he was in high school. He got acceptance from a university with doing the entrance exam. Then, he became part of a team competing in a rescue robot contest and won the world championship two years in a roll. Later, he received a research grant from Germany and is now a university lecturer.

SCG hopes this commercial will make adults realize their responsibility in developing these children and their role to inspire, encourage and give them opportunities. As the saying goes, the children are our future. We at SCG have also been organizing projects to give Thai youth the chance to show their talent and hone their skills as well as introduce them to the international stage.
