SCG to Host “HACKATHON” Searching for Ultimate Innovative Solutions for Business, Industry and Consumer, Offer Prizes up to THB 900,000

SCG is hosting the first world-famous 3 days/2 nights HACKATHON competition, themed under the concept “Passion for Open Innovation.” This hackathon is open to people of all ages, professions, and skills including developers, designers and business planners to showcase their talents, skills and capabilities and form teams with the same inspirations in the event. The teams will collaborate to generate endless ideas and possibilities to bring about solutions that shape the country’s future and meet customer demand in the digital age through three challenges: 1) Growing Business with our Partners through Technology, 2) Developing Industrial Sustainability and 3) Revolutionizing Living.

Apart from having opportunities to meet and exchange knowledge and experiences with attendees from SCG and startup industry, participants will also get a chance to network with new friends who could become future business partners. Prizes of 200,000 THB will be awarded to the best teams from each of 3 challenges and up to 3 prizes worth 100,000 THB will be given to the best teams of BU’s Choice. Total prize amount stands up to 900,000 THB. Participants with outstanding creativity will get support from SCG to further ideas for great transformations in the future.
