SCG Chemicals Accepts Prime Minister Road Safety Awards 2017 Outstanding Organization for Road Safety

Recently, Mr. Chonlanat Yanaranop, Senior Vice President of SCG (left) represented the company in receiving the Prime Minister Road Safety Awards 2017 in the category of public organization with outstanding performance in upraising road safety standards from Mr. Sutee Makboon, Deputy Interior Minister (right) at the national academic conference, the 13th Thailand Road Safety Seminar held at BITEC Bangna Exhibition Center.

SCG Chemicals has operated with strict and continuous road safety policies such as the “Drunk Don’t Drive” policy both in and out of the workplace which was awarded the Prime Minister Road Safety Awards for outstanding solution for drunk driving problems in 2011.

Moreover, in 2015, the company initiated the Life Saving Rules and created a safety organization culture under the theme of The LifesaverTM to raise awareness for employees to look out for the safety of themselves and those around them in order to save each other’s lives. The company also joined hands with Rayong Province to enhance road safety for communities surrounding the factories which is part of the initiative to keep Thai communities safe according to SCG’s sustainable development policy in alignment with the government’s policy in driving Thailand towards the Decade for Action of Road Safety 2011 – 2020.
