SCG Chemicals joins hands with EGAT to explore innovations to increase electricity generation efficiency through innovation

Mr. Cholanat Yanaranop, President, SCG Chemicals, and Mr. Jakgrich Pibulpairoj, Deputy Governor – Business Development, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), signed a memorandum of understanding for joint efforts in research and development. Under this MoU, the two entities will collaborate to apply innovation to boost electricity generating capacity and minimize production cost and environmental impact. The innovation includes using coating and cleaning chemicals for boilers, and using robots for infrastructure inspection. Mr. Somchai Wangwattanapanich, Vice President – Operations, SCG Chemicals, and Mr. Wattana Laipermpoon, Assistant Governor – Operation and Maintenance Business, EGAT, took part in the MoU signing as witnesses.
